My 89 X8, it has a stock 7M with a notorious BHG, S14 drop springs, MK3 LSD and, W58.

Aloha. Just joined the forum. looking forward to finding out more on cressida's and in the future doing a JZ swap.

My baby I just picked up sunday. PO did the following.

W58 5SPD swap
installed metal headgasket due to BHG
solid motor mounts
stainless steel clutch line
megan coilovers

Things I did...
put rims on, lol.

But only other thing is to figure out why the A/C isn't turning on and she will be a perfect daily. Until I save up for the JZ swap.

Also I was wondering what differential can be used in these cars? I think I saw on google a MK3 diff will work? Is there any modifications that need to be done for it to work?

The person I bought it off of, said there already is a stock diff inside but it doesn't lock up at all, except one time when it was decelerating, but as soon as I get on it, it goes loose.

Time for the pics I have. Since then I've maxed out the front negative camber...

mounted up some 20x8.5 +35 i just got in a trade

i picked this up yesterday. it is my 2nd X8 and my 4th cressida. it has fresh paint and new tires. all stock. going to be my DD wile i commence the madness on my X72.











should make for a nice car. had it up N running within about an hour of getting it home.

Now with more 2jz!

Transmission failure! on a flat bed.


Now with the 5 speed swap completed and 18" rims installed.
