my mx83 is running hot

hey guys need some help my cressida is running hot ......i had a new head put on about 3 months ago and did a new thermostat to day ......the car runns at the right temp with the heater on...its just with the heater off that i have problems

You could have a blocked radiator , did you get it flushed and tested when the head was done ?

+1 most likely culprit is a gunked up radiator. Other possibilities, some not unlikely, but that's the most probable.

but if it doesn't have a new rad id just buy a alloy one of ebay been running one for ages and no dramas at all then bleed.

took me over half an hour to bleed my old 7m once!
have a snap on vacuum bleeder now to make this heaps easier

been so long since ive been on here the heat issue ended up been gunk build up in the coolent lines got it flushed runs like a dream
