hey all good to see some cressida forums up again
my mx83 build has had more turns than a female up on blocks but have gone full circle and a 1uz will be installed as have just bought a ls400 complete thats in mint cond so install should be fairly easy.

have the r154 sitting there as well as most bits just need clutch setup and good to go

anyways some may know the car look forward to talking shit

You mentioned you might need help with wiring;
I stumbled upon this not long ago (unfortunately AFTER I did my own car).

Oh so that's where I've seen your car! Next time you're there, take a gander at the picture in his shed of the 4 x8's. The black one was mine Very Happy

Id be keen to lend a hand if needed. I'd certainly be interested in being present when you do your wiring, if only just to observe (and refresh myself). It just might motivated me to fix my idle issue.

had your ecu recapped yet. fix this ones rev/idle problem just by replacing one cap with a second hand one out of a 7m ecu lol so will run heaps better when i get it rebuilt.

feel free to help out anytime bruz i wont be back for 2 weeks but. andrew has a auto sparky who can help out as well so should be good as

question did you use the rear oxy sensors as ive left them on the ls 400 just unpluged everything i could to use

I opened up the ecu as when we bought the ls400 wouldn't rev past 3000 rpm when I checked for codes got no feedback. Opened the ecu and found 1 dodge cap and replaced it plugged it in and got feedback with no codes started it and rev problem gone....Thank Fuck too was doing my head in with no codes showing I was like wtf

so paid for some nice bits to finish this r154 conversion off
bought a sweet quartermaster twin plate and light weight flywheel to suit and also and adapto plate and t56 hydraulic throw-out setup just need to pay for my land cruiser 3/4 master i found and some lines and good to go. highly recommend the service from Andrew Carrol at the suprastore.com for the awesome price and service for the clutch kit, adaptor and t56 throw-out

i have a gx81 pedal kit ill be using as well ;-)

so all that should be left is a one peace tail-shaft that i cant get until the box and everything is in the Cressy.
