Gday, long time addict.
Was a pretty active poster back on tc.net, but became recluse when it died.

Started a UZ conversion a few years (and cars) ago and just recently jumped back into it so decided to find another cressida forum to lurk.

Here's my 2nd car on a dyno.

Here's a "recent" picture of my current car.

Happy to answer any questions about my car or the UZ swap in general, as long as you're happy with my answers being from a complete dope no mechanical practice apart from personal experience.

Lookin' forward to lurkin'.
-Dan

Yes it is harder but all depends on what you prefer cause it will be worth it in the end.
Just remember though the aftermarket support for a 1uz is not as good as 1jz as every man and his dog has a 1jz.

Hence why I think 1uz are better as well. But as I said I'm bias

Hello, This thread still active?
Trying to find some information regarding putting a 1UZ-FE into my 1989 MX83 Cressida.
Currently battling through fitting 1JZ-GTE into an MX32 as well but have pretty much got that one figured out.
