Remote radio controls

Has any one ever figured out how to make the remote radio controls work with aftermarket radios? I kept my factory radio as long as I could so I could keep them, but gave up the ghost. I put in a JVC double din unit but it is in an awkward place and now I have knobs that don't do any thing. I wonder if you can make a steering wheel interface from Axxess work? I can't be the first person to want to utilize these controls.

You'd have to get a circuit board diagram and figure out where to solder in the wires. Most radios don't support wired external controls. No you aren't the first, if you figure out how, you'd be the first I've heard of to do it.
