Brake Stuff Empty Brake Stuff

So I learned about how interchangeable our cars are with supras from my mx73, but i haven't seen a lot of that information about the mx83's. Well, I had to do some brake work on mine and I can report that ma70 supra rotors, pads and lines are direct swaps onto our cars.

This is all stop tech stuff for a MK3, and it fits the Cressida pretty damn well. The brake lines are a bit wonky. I don't know if supras came with banjo bolt lines stock, but the hardware fits just fine.

And apparently supras use a 2 piece rear line, like the mk2 and mx73 does, but the mx83 doesn't. But again, it still works.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool to know, and it might open up some options for people looking to do some brake upgrades. Hell, just this little bit of work on my car and now it stops like a dream.

Haven't been on any forums for bloody ages but thought I'd send a reply as I have done the brakw upgrade for the mx83.
Best upgrade imho is the 4 pot R33 skyline caliper with the ba falcon 330 mm rotor you will need a hub ring for the rotor but apart from that it's all a direct fit.
Hope this helps I have picks of the upgrade fitted to my uzx83 if you want let me know
