hello, my name is Ryan, and im from northern california. Ive been driving my cressida since about 2009, and was a member of tc.net up until recently. this looks like its replacement. hopefully ill be able to help folks out and see what others are up to.

Its been about a week since i put new cam seals,rear o rings and cam carrier gaskets on my 5m, oh and a new tennessee gasket. so far, no leaks of any kind.

the only issue ive been having is setting ignition timing, it will run, but it misses at idle. I bridged the diagnosis port, set the crank to 0 and line up the marks on the distributor,and it seems the pick-up isnt lining up with the rotor. so im scratching my head, while my motor runs all retarded. any guidance appreciated.

i solved my problem, it wasnt how i set the cams or the crank, the distributor was off,and i took the car off the battery to reset everything.
