What Motor to get? thoughts? .02 ?

I am currently in the market for a motor for my x7 and am pretty torn....

2JzGTE - Expensive but easy install
1jzgte - A little less expensive but still up there when looking at lower mileage.
1UZ -Cheap Powerful, HEAVY AS SIN and not a ton of aftermarket support.
LS1 - Cheep, Cheep, easy to find parts everywhere, downside I don't have a ton of knowledge of the parts needed for an LS1 into a cressida

Thoughts?

1UZ is lighter than a 5M or 7M. All aluminum, baby.

yea, That's the first thing I was thinking of, 1UZ is NOT heavy. LS1 on the other hand...

LS1 parts needed: engine mounts, trans mount, trans, EVERYTHING. About the only difference is the toyota engines will bolt to toyota transmissions and toyota mounts. I'll bet if you look hard enough, someone's making LS->cressida swap mounts.

I went with the hardest. 2JZ GTE VVTI. Keeping it Auto and keeping it VVTI with AEM Version 2.
With Upgraded True parallel Twins.

wow - should be a beast! installed the turbos yet?

No not yet. I am rebuilding the head with ferrea valve train by HeadGame Motorworks.
Here is a picture of a custom downpipe from the turbos down. it was made as divorced downpipe but I piped it back before the flange.
Still need to ceramic coat it.

It would have been to loud for a daily.
