central California cress project 89 mx83

Hey guys I'm drew I got this 89 7mge cress from a buddy, I have other vehicles so this isn't a daily driver i would like to turn it into a drift car. Iv built autox cars and drag cars and have helped on drift projects in the past,
Here's my basic ideas so far for the build ( all input appreciated)

Haven't decided between a 1uz,1jz or 2jz. Don't have unlimited budget and this is going to be a year long build .

Welded diff

NEEDS standard transmission swap

Coil overs

Wheels I'm thinking te37's or rpf1's at the moment

Just brainstorming at the moment

First things first I'm doing the head gasket on the 7mge getting it to pass smog and registering it so I can test it on the road for the next two years

So just picked up a complete stock exhaust system to smog this thing. And a complete 7mge gasket set along with new windows,grill,and turn signals

Also tracked down a complete w58 tranny with everything needed already previously installed on a 7mge cressida
Guy is asking 500 sounds pretty good to me, what do you guys think?

New front grill re did the lights, grill and bumper, installed new rear windshield
Stock exhaust system and stock intake along with new head gasket all ready to be installed as soon as I finish my truck tomorrow
