Hello there my fellow Cressida lovers/owners, I am Matt, a 26 y/o lad from Houston TX.
I must admit that I've been meaning to join the boards for quite some time now....
But I'm finally here, and don't plan on leaving!

I originally fell head over for the beloved MX73 Cressida body, back in 2006 I reckon it was..
Every single time I was financially ready, the market was not. And visa-verse..
Finally I synched up with the time-tellers of the universe..

...wait, not the time nor place.

I picked my x7 back in September of 2011. I drove ooh about 500 miles overnight (+/-25miles ea. way) from Houston to Dallas and back to pick up my first/current Cressida, which is an 88' with factory Pearl White paint and sun-raped(is that too vulgar? sry if so) burgundy leather interior. *gasps for oxygen
The babe only had 109,XXX miles at the time What a Face #winning

I took a few months longer than hoped to get it back on the road after getting it home, but as soon as I did it was SO nice.
Until I drove 150-ish miles to Austin.
Well, ...tried to at least.
My transmission had gone from automatic to autotragic 30 miles or so from my destination.
Blah.
Pfft, so what.
W58 time it was indeed.
I was never much of an auto fan anyway, as only 1 of my 9 previous vehicles was an auto.
I've come pretty far with the beast and there's so much still to come. Considering I had a hard couple of time's deciding if I wanted it as my daily or my fun car. I first wanted to daily it, and especially after I found an 86' Corolla GT-S I bought to build.
But then the day came when I stumbled upon a good deal for a set of RS-R Progressive S14 240sx springs to throw on the Cress..

*crickets*

..sold the rolla project and funded a 2JZ swap ^_^
It's not the begging 5M that was past due for removal. It feels nice to know that I'm not leaving my mark every place I park!
Bad seals kill.
The 2JZ swap I just did in it isn't TT, although I'm not too worried.
I just acquired myself two (technically 1.6ish) Soarer 1JZ's last night.

On with a few pictures, yeah?

One of the only first pictures I have of 'er.

Day 2 of RS-R Springs. Loving the look and ride, I went to take a pic or two across the street at this high school?
