1986 Cressida MX72 Wagon "project"
Short story is that soon after my last MX72 got t-boned by a chick on her phone.a friend gave me this sweet ride with 68k miles on it It had a bad differential and had been sitting in the garage for 10 years. Luckily the gas tank was clean and it fired right up. I have put a bunch of new brake and suspension parts on it that were left over from my previous wagon. The 6.7" diff was replaced and it runs like a top although sadly it burns a little oil probably through the old valve stem seals.
I have a treasure horde of parts including a Mk1 axle with a MkII LSD to fit along with a 3.7 or 4.1 gear set to choose from. Newly rebuilt brake calipers for the Mk1 axle with brackets and rotors. QTY 3 W58 tranmissions, MkII P-Type wheels polished and another set in original condition.
I'll come back soon and post some pictures.
