MX73 Shitbox / japrod / driftslut
Started off over a year ago when my M30 took a turn for the worst and decided to shit out a woddruff key at 60MPH.
So i got this $800 running and driving shitbox off ATL craigslist.... and so it began.
Initially it was going to be painted pearl white and turned pretty.... But that's not my style.
So i painted it with paint and shit!
Rattle can... awwweeee yeah
then i moved... then i got bored again...
My girlfriend does pinupart and goes by Etak (www.artetak.org)
So I got bored and went back to black
Then I got creative and decided it was time to go with a more peranent scheme
BOSO PIPE!
240sx wing I had form my M30
Then I decided to strip it and rust it. why? Because. That's why
made a rusty heat plate
They see me rollin.. They laugh
Made a new wing. gonna remake it with 1 sheet because I didn't have any other choice than lows at the time.
Old interior shot.
Then I did a new paint scheme after i got tired of maintaining the rust I sanded and repainted. I WAS going for a more BOSOZOKU style this time around.
I replaced the steering rack and all the components.... and of course the motor finally blows... Never finished the paint...
So I go this to hold me over... hey for $1000 I couldn't say no @ 70k original miles it drove like new...
Traded in the hearse for $2k and got me a new 2013 Toyota marshmallow a few weeks later
After hearing around town that everyone missed the crazy shark car I decided.... well its time to go back. but better!
I consider this my best spray yet all free handed in montana black.
So at this point I re-listed her put her up for sale again and immediately got hits and offers all over... I couldnt pull the trigger no matter how hard i tried i never could sell it.
SO HERE WE ARE...
my girl is letting me sell her shitty Mitsubishi and take that money into this build.
For now shes just stripped and getting stitches, the interior is now gutted and in the process of being cleaned top to bottom...
SO IT BEGINS....
Plans:
x2 Red bride lowmax.
Grip royal pearl white and black with quick release
fully rebuilt/built 5MGTE with aRP and wisco internals
Megasquirt DIY kit from diyautotune.com
Centerline wheels
lightweight flywheel
custom hydro E-brake
mishimoto rad, oil cooler, air oil separator.
custom battery box relocated to trunk
Fuel cell
Extinguisher kit
Undecided on coilovers either S9 or megan. (if I can figure out S9's configuration I will place a direct order from stance for the parts to avoid not having McPhersons all the way around)
custom skid plates
"drift brakes"
lots more I'm sure I'm missing...

If you call Stance they can get you the S9 valving, springs and spring rates as well as the relocated adjusters.

hell yeah I'll look into that. I've got a couple local dealers that can probably hook it up. Thanks!

Pressure washed the engine bay with a 1200psi washer... I needed a lot more power but it did a decent job (then was promptly returned because i can find a better one for $100)
And the engine bay is finally clear of everything and primed. Next step picking a bay color and sourcing the LS1.
