Antenna motor continuously running whether it's at full mast or not.

So I had a quick question to see if anyone else has had or is having this problem and if someone knows how to fix it. My antenna moves up and down fine but the problem is whether it's up or down the motor does not stop I drove home from Seattle with it like this thinking it would be an easy fix, I hooked it up to a toggle switch but it still just keeps going once up or down. Any help? Could it be the stereo wiring being janky? Thanks!

sounds like a bad relay or timer... replace the whole thing with a new one from anywhere IMO... who listens to the radio when you have pandora and ipods anyway?

I have this exact antenna installed on mine and it works like a charm. It's universal but it fits great.

Thanks theghiaisred I'll give it a shot if it continues I'll just re wire everything and hope that solves it
